Expense Tracker is an offline-first progressive web application designed to help users track personal expenses, income, budgets, and financial data. The application stores data locally on your device and does not require account registration.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

3.1 Local-First Approach

Expense Tracker is designed with privacy as a core principle. All your financial data is stored locally on your device using browser technologies such as IndexedDB and localStorage. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal financial information to external servers.

3.2 No Account Required

Unlike many financial applications, Expense Tracker does not require you to create an account, provide email addresses, or share personal information. Your data remains completely under your control.

3.3 Data Portability

Premium users can export their data in CSV format for backup or migration purposes. This ensures you always have access to your financial information, even if you stop using the application.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of Expense Tracker, you agree to:

• Maintain the security of your device and access to the application

5. Service Limitations

5.1 Free Plan

The free version of Expense Tracker is limited to 15 entries and includes core features for personal expense tracking.

5.2 Premium Plan

Premium features, including unlimited entries, custom categories, and data export/import, require a one-time payment through Razorpay.

5.3 Offline Functionality

While designed for offline use, the application requires an initial internet connection to load and install as a PWA. Some features may be limited without internet connectivity.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Premium Upgrade

Premium features are available through a one-time payment processed via Razorpay. By upgrading to premium, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service.

6.2 Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the service, all premium upgrades are final and non-refundable. Please evaluate the free version thoroughly before upgrading.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Expense Tracker are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Expense Tracker is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. You are responsible for backing up important financial data.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Expense Tracker, including but not limited to loss of financial data or business opportunities.
